Conventions of a Music Video  For a music video it would show the artist, what the album is called and the release date it is common for film posters to be more detailed whereas for a song the poster would stereotypically more simple. Films and albums could also be promoted through advertisements on billboards and film posters in the newspapers and magazines. A traditional way of marketing a media product is by using posters which tells the target audience the most important information about the media product for example for a film it would show the release date, main actors, the director and a picture relating to the film some how. How has technological convergence and proliferation of hardware changed how films/products are marketed? Also distributors are know to share clips that can be found either in the film or music video which shows the audience enough to get them enticed and want to watch the whole thing therefore marketing the media product.   Use of Technology ...

Welcome To The Page Of Navid Tharani.  Historically Filmmaking has been maybe the most inaccessible art forms, compared to painting, where you only need a paint brush and canvas or writing where you only require a pen and paper.. ...Filmmaking has always required this enormous infrastructure behind it. And now due to modern technology I like to think that it is just about accessible to everyone.   For me, I see Filmmaking as an art.   Even in from a very young age I found myself engulfed within the world Film and loving stories.
